Opening of 4.2m city bus station
Norwich Bus Station
The opening of the new bus station has been delayed for months
The new 4.2m bus station in Norwich, built to improve public transport in and around the city, was officially opened on Tuesday.

The station, which has the most advanced technology of its kind in the country, was originally scheduled to open in May, then early in August.

Delays were blamed on a shortage of steel and bad weather.

Among the features are touch-screen ticket machines and timetables that tell you where a bus is.

There is also a travel centre which will be open seven days a week.
