'Burglar' death is not suspicious
House in Corkland Road
The man died a few days after falling from the fourth-floor flat
The death of a suspected burglar who was killed when he fell from a fourth-floor flat in Manchester is no longer being treated as suspicious.

A post-mortem examination concluded the man, 43, died as a result of head injuries conducive with a fall.

A 56-year-old Chorlton-cum-Hardy man arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault has had his bail cancelled. No more action will be taken against him.

He had awoken on Monday morning to find the man in his flat on Corkland Road.

Police said that following an exchange of words, the 43-year-old had been found unconscious on the pavement outside at about 0610 BST.

He died in Hope Hospital on Thursday. The case has now been referred to the coroner.
