A 15-year-old moped rider has died after being followed by police in south-east London.
Officers tried to stop the boy in Greenhurst Road, West Norwood, at about 2040 BST on Saturday.
But he rode on and police followed him before he fell off his moped in nearby Lancaster Avenue in Tulse Hill.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating.
The boy's next-of-kin have been informed, but formal identification has yet to take place.
A post-mortem examination is expected to take later.
