Man denies Oxford Street stabbing

A man has denied murdering a 22-year-old who was stabbed in London's Oxford Street during an afternoon in May.

Steven Bigby, from Hackney, east London, was stabbed outside a McDonald's restaurant. He died from a single stab wound to the heart.

Anthony Costa, 19, from Walthamstow, east London, pleaded not guilty to murder when he appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.

He was remanded in custody to face trial on 10 November.
