Five people stabbed at nightclub

Five people have been stabbed outside a nightclub in two separate attacks over the weekend, which police are linking.

Three men were assaulted outside The Manjaros nightclub on Holloway Road in north London in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Two of the victims remain in hospital and a third has been discharged.

One man remains in hospital after two people were also stabbed on Sunday. A 23 year-old man has been arrested in connection with this attack.

Large groups

In both incidents, large groups of people gathered outside the club. The one on Saturday involved about 20 youths, police said.

The three men attacked on Saturday are aged 18 to 21, and two are in a stable condition in hospital.

A 25-year-old man and 29-year-old man were attacked in the early hours of Sunday. The younger man remains in a stable condition in hospital and the other victim has been discharged.

The Metropolitan Police has served a closure order on the club which keeps it shut for at least 24 hours.
