Man charged over hospital murder

The victim and man charged are Chinese, police confirmed

A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing at an east London hospital.

Zhong Ping Zheng, 36, from Palmerston Road, Walthamstow, was found injured on the grounds of Whipps Cross Hospital, at about 2030 BST on Monday.

A post-mortem examination gave cause of death as incised wounds to the neck.

Wei Ma, a 36-year-old unemployed man of no fixed abode, will appear before Waltham Forest Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with murder.
