Cinema sex act mother sentenced

A married mother who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy at a cinema in London's Leicester Square has been given a three-year supervision order.

Judge Andrew Trollope told Jane Attwood, 36, that she had behaved in a "deplorable and unjustifiable" manner.

Southwark Crown Court heard she carried out a sex act on him before making him perform one on her in December 2006.

Attwood, of Lodge Avenue, Dagenham, east London, admitted three charges of sexual activity with a child.

She was also ordered to attend a sex offenders' programme and her name will go on the Sex Offenders' Register for five years.

Judge Trollope said: "The offences are self-evidently serious. They are particularly serious because it involves contact of you an adult interfering with a young person."

Attwood was also warned that she faced jail if she offended again.

The judge told her: "It is very important that you never, ever behave in this way to any young person again. If you do you will go (to prison)."

The boy's mother became suspicious when Attwood called the boy, who then confessed to the incident.
