The 23-year-old was flagged down in the Wilsford area by a man who produced what was thought to be a handgun, and a second man who had a knife, on 24 July.

He was then driven around for several hours and eventually dumped near Bolton Abbey, Skipton.

The car was then set on fire and the offenders left.

The victim was uninjured during the incident.

The offenders are described as white, aged in their 30s. One had dark hair and wore a red top with blue jeans.

The other had fair hair and wore a white top with blue jeans.
