Town waits on redevelopment plan
Plans for the future of Hinckley town centre will be revealed soon.

After a public consultation, councillors are finalising proposals for the area.

The Masterplan for Hinckley Town was published by the borough council last summer and sent out to gauge the reaction of people and businesses.

The results of the consultation are back with the council and it is hoped the plan's finished version will be revealed by April.

Back in December it was announced the Borough Council was pulling out of a deal with Morrisons to build a supermarket on the town's bus station site.

It is not yet clear if this key site will be included in the Masterplan.
