A former piano teacher from Leicestershire has been found guilty of indecently assaulting a schoolboy.
The jury at Leicester Crown Court convicted 67-year-old Michael Pooley of nine counts which took place between 1984-1992.
The court was told Pooley, from Kings Road in Oakham, made the boy sit on his knee during piano lessons.
It was alleged the child accepted it as normal behaviour and did not tell his parents at the time.
The prosecution alleged Pooley gained the trust of the family and told the boy not to say anything to anyone or he would go to prison.
Mr Pooley has maintained his innocence, insisting he had a normal relationship with the boy.
But he was found guilty by the jury and has been remanded in custody by Judge Hugh Mayor until he is sentenced in January.
