Woman dies in 'stabbing incident'
Police at the scene of the incident in Canterbury
Some roads in Canterbury were cordoned off after the incident
A woman has died and three men are in hospital after what police have called a "stabbing incident" in Kent.

Police were called to the Northgate area of Canterbury in the early hours of Saturday to deal with the incident.

They said a 24-year-old woman died as a result and three men were taken to hospital where their condition is described as stable.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident. Roads were closed but have since reopened.

Major roads in the city centre, including Military Road, were cordoned off while forensic inquiries were carried out.

By 1000 GMT police said all the roads in the city had reopened but some footpaths remained closed.
