Reward over garage robbery

A 2,000 reward is being offered for information about a robbery at a petrol station in Tunbridge Wells.

The Total Service Station in Eridge Road was targeted by a robber who punched and threatened a cashier.

The offender then made off from the garage with cash and goods.

Now Total has put up the reward to try and catch the person responsible.

The robbery happened at about 0930 GMT on 22 December.


Missing brothers found

Two brothers who went missing from their home in East Malling have been found safe and well.

Police had been concerned for Nathan Boyce, 14, and his 12-year-old brother Daniel.

They had been last seen by their mother when she checked on them in their bedrooms just after 0000 GMT on Monday but by 0600 GMT the boys had disappeared.

Police said a taxi-driver spotted the brothers in Priory Road in Maidstone at about 1830 GMT.

They have since been reunited with their mother.


Woman badly hurt in crash

A woman is seriously ill in hospital after a car crash near Sittingbourne.

The accident happened at 0900 GMT on Monday on the A2 London Road in Bapchild.

Kent Police said the 33-year-old woman was driving a Ford Fiesta which was in collision with a Ford Mondeo.

The woman was taken to Maidstone Hospital and the Mondeo driver, a 59-year-old man from Sittingbourne, was taken to the Medway Maritime Hospital with minor injuries.

Police are appealing for information about the crash resulted in the road being closed until about 1300 GMT.
