Woman and girl pulled from Humber
Humber rescue boat being towed ashore
The pair were saved by the Humber rescue boat
A woman and her two-year-old daughter had to be rescued after apparently jumping from the Humber Bridge.

Emergency services were called on late on Friday when bridge staff saw an empty pram on a footpath over bridge.

The girl and her 26-year-old mother from Leeds were pulled from the water and taken to the north bank by the Humber rescue boat.

They were then transferred by helicopter to Hull Royal Infirmary where they are being treated.

Police say the child's father has been told about the incident.

Officers are keen to speak to a man who is believed to have cycled over the Humber Bridge not long before the pair left the eastern footpath.
