Attendants gave 'too few tickets'
Philip Mansell and Bruce Edwards
The men say charts show how many tickets attendants gave out
Two parking attendants from Worcestershire say they were dismissed from their jobs for failing to give out enough tickets.

Philip Mansell and Bruce Edwards say they were told to hand out 19 parking fines or more a day in Bromsgrove to boost revenue.

When they failed to reach their target, they were out of a job.

A spokeswoman from Bromsgrove District Council said it does not have ticketing targets.

'Dismissal letter'

But the men claim performance charts compared how many tickets each attendant handed out.

Officials insist penalty quotas had nothing to do with the two attendants getting the sack.

Lesley Waller from the council told BBC Midlands Today: "I don't believe there's anything in the dismissal letter that refers to targets or quotas, that's what I'm reliably informed."
