The deadline has passed for a group of travellers to move on from a park in Gloucester where they have set up camp.

Some 20 caravans arrived in Plock Court on Tuesday and their owners were served with a 24-hour eviction notice which expired at 1500 BST.

As a result of the group not moving on Gloucester City Council said it will apply for a court order to force them to leave.

A spokesman for the travellers said they planned to leave soon.
