The A417 between Gloucester and Cirencester is to close overnight while road works are carried out.
The section of road between the Air Balloon roundabout and the A429 Burford Road junction near Cirencester will be affected by the work.
It will close between 2000 and 0600 BST later then regularly from Monday to Thursday for resurfacing and drainage improvements at Nettleton Bottom.
The closures are due to end on 18 August. Diversions will be in place.
