Elderly woman dies at crash scene
An 80-year-old woman has been killed and an elderly man is "fighting for his life" after a crash.

The woman was a passenger in a green Renault which collided with a silver Citroen on the A37 near Melbury Osmond in Dorset on Sunday.

An 82-year-old man - also a passenger - is critically ill in Yeovil District Hospital, police said on Monday.

The drivers of both cars were slightly hurt. The road was closed for eight hours and police are seeking witnesses.

The two senior citizens involved in the accident at 1811 GMT are from the Sherborne area.
