Two arrests over double stabbing

A man has suffered life-threatening injuries in a double stabbing at a house in Cumbria.

Police were called to an address in Florence Street, Barrow, where they found the badly injured 43-year-old. He is being treated in Furness Hospital.

Another person with stab wounds was also found at the house, but their injuries are not life-threatening.

A 40-year-old man and 29-year-old-woman were arrested in connection with the attacks and released on bail.
