Airline unveils new Swiss flights

A new charter flight will give Cornwall a direct link with the Swiss city of Zurich from next week.

The once-weekly seasonal flight will operate on Sundays from 13 May until 6 September.

Cornwall County Council said the service is primarily aimed at encouraging passengers from Switzerland to visit the county.

Tickets for the charter flight can only be booked through travel agents or on the internet.

The flights will have capacity for 97 passengers.
