Further delays for guided busway

The guided bus route

The route is due to open in November 2009, six months behind schedule

The opening of a guided busway in Cambridgeshire has been delayed again.

The busway will run customers between the new St Ives park and ride and Cambridge in 20 minutes.

Cambridgeshire County Council wanted it to become an alternative to the A14, cutting congestion and making the lives of commuters easier.

A council spokesman said the delay was frustrating and added that contractors are due to finish work in October with the busway opening in November.
