The reporters encountered more than 50 instances of racism

A 22-year-old man and an 11-year boy have been arrested following BBC One's Panorama documentary exposing racism in the Southmead area of Bristol.

Avon and Somerset Police said the pair had been arrested on suspicion of racially-aggravated assault.

The programme featured two Asian reporters posing as a married couple living on an estate for two months.

They recorded more than 50 instances of racism and suffered both verbal and physical abuse while living there.

The 11-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.
