Princess joins crime conference
Princess Royal
The Princess Royal will attend the Bristol event in November
The Princess Royal is to be the keynote speaker at a conference in Bristol exploring restorative justice.

Princess Anne will join the conference, organised by Safer Bristol at the Council House on 13 November.

Restorative justice processes give victims the chance to tell offenders the real impact of their crime and to offer a formal apology.

The programme of events will include interactive presentations and several case studies.

Rick Palmer of Safer Bristol, said: "The aim of the conference is to inform, influence and inspire policy makers and practitioners in the use of restorative justice in Bristol.

"The conference will bring delegates up to speed not only on national developments but more importantly how this powerful tool is being used in Bristol for the benefit of local communities."
