Money raised for shooting victim
Donna Small
Donna's condition has improved in the past few weeks
Friends of a woman who was shot in the head during a gang-related attack have begun raising money for her.

Beauty therapist Donna Small, 22, was injured in the shooting in Bristol in October.

She has been in hospital for seven weeks where her condition has improved from critical to stable.

Colleagues from the Body and Beauty Spa Centre are organising an open evening and a raffle and are hoping the cash will help Donna during her recovery.

Colleague Carla Romeu said: "When I found out what happened to her it devastated me.

"She is a really nice girl, really fun and good at what she does."

Donna's friend, Asha Jama, 25, lost the sight in one of her eyes in the shooting.

The pair were shot at on 2 October by the occupants of a BMW car after being given a lift by three men in a Saab.

Police say the girls are innocent victims.
