Shazad Hussain
Mr Hussain was found slumped at the wheel of his car
A Bradford man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a young father who was shot dead in the city more than two years ago.

Shazad Hussain, 21, was found in his car in an alley between Amberley Street and Gladstone Street in September 2004.

Sharaz Yaqub, 25, was remanded in custody by Bradford magistrates, to appear at Leeds Crown Court next month.

Last July, five other men were charged in connection with Mr Hussain's death. They are due to stand trial next month.

Two 25 year olds were charged with murder.

Another man, also 25, was charged with aiding and abetting murder and perverting the course of justice.

And two men aged 23 and 34 were charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Mr Yaqub, of Silverhill Road, was extradited from Luxembourg to the UK and charged with Mr Hussain's murder on Thursday.
