Driver dies in Berkshire motorway crash

A man died when the car he was driving careered off the M4 in Berkshire after it was involved in a collision.

He was driving a Suzuki SX4 when it collided with a BMW 335i between junctions 12 and 11 south of Reading.

The Suzuki left the carriageway and came to a stop at the side of the M4 where the driver was pronounced dead shortly after 0930 BST.

A passenger was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The BMW driver was unhurt.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
