Broadmoor worker accused of abuse

A care worker has been charged with four sex offences against a mentally ill patient at the high-security Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire.

Rhoda Sibanda, 30, of Bracknell, is accused of carrying out the abuse between 1 June and 25 August 2009.

She is charged with two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a mentally-disordered person while being a care worker.

She is also charged with two counts of non-penetrative sexual activity.

Ms Sibanda was released on bail to appear at Maidenhead Magistrates' Court on 23 December.

A 32-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting an offence under the Sexual Offences Act, was released without charge.
