A house in Berkshire was gutted when a fire ripped through it in a suspected arson attack. Police are investigating if mattresses were pilled up against the property in Ian Mikardo Way, Caversham, and set alight by arsonists. No-one was in the property at the time of the fire on Saturday morning and there were no reports of any injuries. It took more than 20 firefighters to get the blaze under control. Police have appealed for witnesses.
