Appeal over 'running naked man' in Bedford

Witnesses who saw a naked and injured man running in a street in Bedford during the early hours have been asked to contact police.

The man had been injured in a row, which had started in his home in Shakespeare Road at about 0530 BST.

It continued into the street when he tried to run away. He was naked and bleeding from the leg and shoulder.

Two men have been arrested and officers are keen to trace people who stopped in the road, police said.

The man required surgery to his shoulder and stitches to his legs but the injuries are not believed to be serious, police added.
