3D camera reveals secrets of deep
Minute creatures in the depths of the sea can now be seen in 3D by scientists using a revolutionary camera.

Knowledge of life underwater is set to increase thanks to a Daventry company.

Elforlight have helped develop a 3D camera that can provide information on creatures, some as small as a tenth of a millimetre.

The holographic camera developed with the University of Aberdeen will give scientists instant 3D images of tiny living things in the sea.

The university said it will help scientists find out more about how healthy the oceans are and explore the link between tiny organisms and fish stocks.

Elforlight said the camera is already being used on a trial cruise to the Faroes Channel.
