A rare football programme from 1897 from a game between Newcastle United and the forerunner of Manchester United is expected to fetch £5,000.
Items from the early days of Man Utd attract world interest
The four-page official card is from a New Year's Day fixture between Newcastle and Newton Heath.
Items from the early history of Manchester United frequently gather worldwide interest, auctioneers say.
It will go under the hammer along with other football memorabilia on Wednesday at Ludlow Racecourse, in Shropshire.
Manchester United were originally known as Newton Heath before changing their name in 1902.
"Anything to do with Manchester United, and in particular the earliest days of the club, creates worldwide interest," said football specialist Will Andrews, of auctioneers Mullock Madely.
"This particular programme is in very good condition and an item such as this, and in the condition that it is in, should be a 'must have' for the dedicated collector.
"This is literally worth more than its weight in gold."
Other memorabilia up for auction includes rare programmes, team photographs, caps, shirts and tickets.
