So Solid star remanded in custody
So Solid Crew
So Solid Crew come from south London
A member of the garage group So Solid Crew has appeared in court on drug and gun charges.

Shane Neil, 23, whose stage name is Kaish, is charged with possession of a firearm with ammunition and possession of firearm without a licence.

The singer from Battersea, south-west London, was also charged with possession of a Class A drugs with intent to supply, and with supplying drugs.

He was remanded in custody by Bow Street Magistrates in central London until 27 December.

Garage collective

Police said he was arrested when he attended a central London police station by appointment on Wednesday.

Mr Neil is one of at least 30 members of garage collective.

The act rose to fame with the number one smash 21 Seconds in August 2001.

Many of the members have also scored solo hits including Romeo Dunn, MC Harvey and Oxide and Neutrino.
