The Queen has embarked on a 15-week tour of the UK to mark her Golden Jubilee. The tour began on 1 May in the West Country.
The crowds in Falmouth were the first to greet the Queen on her Jubilee tour
The royal couple saw the yacht "Bluebottle", which was given to them as a wedding present
The Monarch officially named Falmouth's new lifeboat, the "Robert Cox Scott"
The royal couple then boarded the lifeboat for a tour of the harbour
The crew of the Prince William gave the Queen 'three cheers' from the mast
Children from the Scilly Isles performed a traditional maypole dance
In Exeter a young girl was one of a long line of flower-bearers
The Queen, and the crowds, found plenty to smile about on the first day of the tour
