Football tries to kick into India

Football has a long way to go in India, lagging way behind cricket in popularity.

Relatively few people in the country play football, though millions of Indians watch the big English Premiership matches.

With the World Cup in South Africa just a few months away, could India's untapped talent - and its huge potential market - be about to open up?

The BBC's Delnaaz Irani starts her report in Mawkasiang, a village on the outskirts of Shillongthe, in the north-east of the country.
