Bankers make public apology

The former bosses of the two biggest UK casualties of the banking crisis have apologised repeatedly for the failure of their banks.

Lord Stevenson, Sir Tom McKillop, Sir Fred Goodwin and Andy Hornby told the Treasury Select Committee hearing into the banking crisis they were "profoundly" sorry.
